Experiencing the fullness of life

The Tao teaches that if one wants TO BECOME FULL, one must let themself BECOME EMPTY FIRST.
I have noticed that when we think that we want something then we go into misery. As long as we want something we are never really available for anything else. And when finally we get the thing we wanted we experience relief and the relief is not the relief form the happiness of receiving what we wanted, but from the relief from 'the misery of wanting the particular thing'. It is always stressful to have ideals of achieving something which through the mind story we believe that we do not have at the moment. We add stress to life everytime we try to compare "what we have" with "what we do not have". When we no longer believe the thought that 'we need to achieve something', the world seems to be a ...more kinder, a more peaceful place. To become empty as the saying of the TAO, is to no longer identify ourself with the thought of wanting.
The truth is that we are the beloved children of the Universe and we are infinitely blessed at any given moment. At any given moment we have all that we need for that moment. We already have what we want, we already are what we want. Whatever we are doing at the moment is the ultimate success itself. The end of suffering from duality is bringing in the awareness to notice the gifts that the Present moment brings.
When we choose to be in the Present moment and live our life from the place of gratitude we experience the fullness of life that the TAO talks about.
