What you have is not you, you have a body, you have a personality, these are tools that we have but they are not us. And we can never relate to another through these tools, they are just tools. True relationship with another is only through who we are, and who we are is 'life' itself. When we come into the understanding that we are life, that we live in everything inside and outside the body, we first come into a true loving relationship with the Self, then from there we begin loving relationships with others outside the Self.
