The Sea within the Shell
Take this body and break it,
For I am not flesh and blood.
Take this mind and drown it,
For I am not this collection of senses.
I am this soul,
That wanders far and wide
I am this heart,
That expands into everything.
Like a shell,
Tossed through the waves.
Evolving, turning, moving, changing.
Drifting from shore to shore
Forever in motion, forever free
We think so small, yet we are so large.
For I am not flesh and blood.
Take this mind and drown it,
For I am not this collection of senses.
I am this soul,
That wanders far and wide
I am this heart,
That expands into everything.
Like a shell,
Tossed through the waves.
Evolving, turning, moving, changing.
Drifting from shore to shore
Forever in motion, forever free
We think so small, yet we are so large.
Through love and ecstasy, through pain and sorrow.
Let life pour through you, hold onto nothing
Let it take you in a wave
Let it lift you high and throw you down.
Fear is to hold on
Love is to let go
I am nothing but motion, I am nothing but this moment.
Drown in this release, let the joy seep into your lungs
Until you feel nothing but exhilaration, until you are no more.
Be thrown from this body of limitation, be thrown from this ocean of dreams.
Drift down into the dark blue water, lose yourself in the abyss.
And when the stillness comes you see,
That you are both the shell within the sea and the sea within the shell
