Ask just about anyone what’s the #1 thing they want out of life, and they’ll say “To be happy.” And nearly everyone has heard of the phrase “Happiness is an inside job.” But what if we can’t find it there? No “what ifs”, don't even go there! Happiness is not something that comes to you. It is something you create now, today. Waiting for something external to change in order to be happy is waiting to live your life. It is not what happens to you that counts. It is how you react to what happens to you. It’s your attitude.

But maybe it’s not about searching for happiness at all? Maybe it’s simply being grateful for who and what we have in life, and not what we don’t. And maybe the greatest happiness of all is knowing that you are loved for who you are, and sometimes in spite of who you are.
